SEVEN-CHAMBER ACE IN THE PRODUCTION OF WINDOWS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS.
 
We commonly use the expression PVC or plastic. Many people do not know that PVC is an abbreviation for polyvinyl chloride. One of the oldest invented plastic material, ageing resistant and that’s why the windows made of this material may function even more than 30 years. Over this period they keep their functionality features including resistance against weather conditions (rain, frost, sun, wind). PVC is a thermo-insulating material, resistant against humidity and growing fungus and self-extinguishing when moved from direct fire is one of its priceless properties. No toxic health harmful substances are discharged in case of possible burning.

 

There are many ingredients that determine its physical and chemical properties.The most important are those which make the material what it is – durable with a long-lasting unchanged life-span. Currently the most frequently used stabilizing agent in Europe is, unfortunately, LEAD.
Until now approximately 80 % of windows produced in Europe contain LEAD – harmful element to health and to environment. Denmark – the world leader in environment protection rights – introduced a ban on production and sale of lead containing profiles. Ban on usage of lead as a substance of PVC has been in force for several years in The U.S.A. All the measures are based on a fact that lead can be especially dangerous to small children, infants, pregnant, and breast-feeding women. It may be a reason of mis-developed nerve cells, damage to immunity system, and oncological changes to body cells, too. It was in Denmark where they built an urban settlement (Skejby) for allergic people in the beginning of 90’s. The Chamber of doctors and microbiologists decided that the houses for those people would be furnished with windows produced from profiles containing no lead! Calcium-zinc stabilizing agent used in the production of HORIZONT PS profiles is recorded in the “Green PVC Book” published in European Union as the only alternative to eliminate heavy metals – lead and cadmium. They are replaced by materials that do not endanger human health and are of no harm to the environment.

We stick to this commitment and principle! Latest technology products – HORIZONT PS profile systems – the latest seven-chamber ace made in the Czech Republic meets our intentions fully. It is a synonym of a modern and healthy window. Distinctive by its elegant look and unique due to its nature. Viewing width of the window frame is diminished thanks to twice curved drip-mould and by stop sealing on the frame creates a perfect protection against impacts of wind and rain.
Construction depth of the main profiles – 75 mm and the number of 7 chambers ranks the profile to the highest quality ones in their category. The ratio: Uf of a set frame-sash including the reinforcement achieves thanks to the 7 chambers the value of : 1.08Wm2.K-1
Combined with the highest quality glazing it is the best assumption to decrease the heating costs of our flats, buildings for working and living.
Groove moved more to the centre of the sash, hinges fastened to a steel reinforcement, usage of safety locks with the overall fittings increase the resistance of the window against burglary. If an apt safety glazing is chosen, the windows become an uncrossable barrier to any burglar…

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS

The material for production of the profiles is PVC refined with other additives to increase its durability, compactness, color stability and long-lasting weather endurance. Only pure and original raw materials are used for the production. The production is subject to the ČSN EN 12 608 standard and it is executed in the highest class “A” with the width of outer walls minimum 2.8 mm.

Thermal insulation properties:

The value of the window heat transition coefficient when an insulation double glazed pane with the SWISSPACER frame is used – Ug=1,0Wm-2.K-1 Uw=1.1Wm-2.K-1. Wide range of color adjustments of the profile surface!
